About this artist:
A self-taught prodigy, Ant has devoted over ten years to guitar study and performance, leaving the 'band' scene to focus on a solo acoustic career.
His uniqueness is incomparable and his speed and finger dexterity is amazing, some techniques involve 12 string harmonic finger tapping (!) acoustic slapping, upside down finger pickin' blues and he even plays guitar with his dreads!
All of A.J's songs have been self recorded in his home built studio. He has been producing his own original music since he was 19 years of age.
Currently at 24 years of age, he has two self recorded EPs to his name, however his passion lies in performing live and when on stage the true meaning of his music comes alive.
Ant currently has Tuesday night residency in the infamous "Buddha Bar" Byron Bay where he lives to perform and is at home when on stage.
A.J has performed countless gigs from Fraser to Fremantle and appeared at numerous festivals including the Queenscliff Music Festival and his Live act is quickly becoming widely respected throughout the East Coast of Australia, where he has been based for the last 3 years.
His passion is music, his pride is guitar, and with a growing fan base, Anthony is definately an up and coming local artist worth hearing.
The featured song at the moment is "Green Jacket Blues" which he wrote and recorded himself (ONE TAKE!!i n January 2008.
